A lovely example of the ‘C’ range designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag c.1954. This simple but significant design is manufactured from a combination of solid oak and oak veneer and finished with solid turned oak legs. It was both very economical to manufacture but visually distinctive with its recessed front and cutaway handle. This four drawer version offers plenty of storage space and has been fully stripped and oil finished and presents beautifuly with a lovely honey colour - just the odd tiny ding and nibble.
