A rarely available model 404 occasional chair designed by V B Wilkins for G-Plan c.1953 and in production until 1959.  Fully restored with all new foam and upholstered in a lovely silver grey soft touch 100% wool from Abraham Moons ‘Distinction’ range and finished with freshly ebonised legs and new metal glides as per original.  Lovely 50’s styling with its curved back and deep buttons and tapered splayed legs, in my opinion so much nicer than the widely seen continental cocktail chairs of the same period.  A very stylish and discreet chair perfect for the smaller space / bedroom or hallway.
