A very seldom seen ‘coffee’ chair designed by Neil Morris for Morris of Glasgow in the 1950’s finished in Eggshell boucle from Bute. This petite but striking chair is constructed throughout in richly figured solid walnut which makes this example even rarer as most of these chairs were constructed from laminated timber with a walnut veneer. The frame has been fully restored and newly lacquer finished as per original and then finished with all new foam and correctly detailed in a period correct boucle - it really is a gorgeous little chair - put simply you probably won’t find another for sale anywhere and certainly not restored and upholstered to this standard.
