A model 501 wingback armchair by G-plan introduced c.1955. The example pictured was sourced from the family of the original owner along with the rarely seen model 502 club chair also listed. The price quoted includes full restoration of the solid beech legs (these can be ebonised if desired) all new foam and labour but excludes fabric - you’ll need up to 5 linear metres for this chair. The 501 is wonderfully styled and generously proportioned, constructed on a solid beech frame with angled and splayed solid beech legs these chairs have curves in all the right places and are incredibly comfortable. A gorgeous chair once restored to our signature standard.

Measurements approx - Height 91.5cm height x 82cm wide (across wings) x 87cm depth. Seat tapers from 57cm at front to 45cm at back / Height to seat - 44cm.
