A fabulous pair of model 4530 dining chairs by G-Plan c.1964 by IB Kofod Larsenproduced as part of the Danish range. These fully upholstered chairs are very cleverly designed with a tapering seat base and back that is also curved with a slender profile. Unusually this pair stand on solid walnut legs with a curved side stretcher (they are normally seen in either tola or teak) - the overall design really is lovely, wonderful proportions and comfortable. Fully restored with all new foam and webbing and finished in a very high quality boucle wool (Storr Eggshell) from Bute. The legs have been fully stripped and oil finished and are in lovely condition with just the odd tiny ding only visible on very close inspection - the walnut is richly figured throughout with a rich natural lustre and contrast beautifully with the deep pale texture of the boucle - a gorgeous pair of chairs.
