This classic design in solid elm and beech by Lucian Ercolani is arguably one of his most accomplished and enduring designs that looks as good today as it did when first produced in the early 50’s. This set of five have benefited from a full professional restoration - stripped of the original lacquer finish, lightly sanded and then finished with a modern ac lacquer that is hard wearing, stain and uv resistant whilst retaining an aged patina so they do have the odd ding, bruise and stain. Some lovely vivid elm which is typical of early examples of these chairs. Exceptional value for money.
