A lovely example of a Dorrington range rosewood extending dining table designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine c.1966. Full professional restoration the table has been lacquer finished as per original and is heat, stain and uv resistant. The table features a wonderful natural variation in colour and is richly figured with a very pleasing mellow patina of chocolate orange / brown and black. The single extension leaf stores underneath the main table top and is a perfect colour match. An elegant and simple design finished with gently tapered legs, subtle overhanging top and routed edge (as per the matching sideboards). Last photo shows this lovely table with a set of 6 fully upholstered G-Plan dining chairs (see separate listing). The table does have a few very minor veneer blemishes that have been coloured accordingly and are only visible on very, very close inspection. An absolute bargain at £995!!!
