Archie Shine Salisbury chest of drawers c.1958
Archie Shine Salisbury chest of drawers c.1958
A wonderful example of a rarely seen Salisbury range chest of five drawers finished in richly figured mahogany and rosewood. Sourced from the family of the original owner this generously proportioned piece has been newly lacquer finished (as per original) and presents beautifully with just the odd tiny mark only visible on very, very close inspection. Featuring a richly figured mahogany carcass, solid mahogany reeded top drawer and turned legs with four lower drawers veneered in Bombay (Indian) rosewood with solid brass trumpet handles. A fabulous design in a striking combination of materials it really is wonderful piece.
