Beautiful Bath Cabinet Makers mahogany and sycamore sideboard c.1955
A wonderful 50’s sideboard in a richly figured and coloured solid mahogany with contrasting sliding doors finished in sycamore. This distinctive design was produced by Bath Cabinet Makers and was produced in several versions with different timbers and detailing and was retailed by top department stores of the period including Heals of London. Fabulous detailing with the routed sides, distinctive leg design and a fitted interior with a solid mahogany shelf to the left and slide out tray and solid timber drawer on the right. In fantastic fully restored condition - the exterior has been newly lacquer finished (as per original) and presents beautifully - fabulous depth of colour and grain throughout. A stand out example of this rare design.
