A wonderful and rarely available solid afrormosia floating top coffee table designed by John J. Herbert for A. Younger c.1960. Wonderfully styled with striking proportions this beautifully crafted piece is constructed throughout in richly figured and coloured solid afrormosia. Sourced from the family of the original owner and fully restored and oil finished as per original it’s in wonderful condition with just the odd tiny mark only visible on very, very close inspection. Arguably one of the finest British designs of the period and very seldom available. Elegant, wonderfully styled generously proportioned and beautifully made its an absolute gem.
