Robert Heritage for Archie Shine Hamilton dining table

Robert Heritage for Archie Shine Hamilton dining table

£995.00

An absolutely wonderful example of a Hamilton range dining table designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine in the late 1950’s. This table with its signature curved end stretcher and wishbone leg support was produced in a variety of different sizes and materials - this is the rarely seen small version that is a discreet 142.5cm in length as standard but extends up to 202.5cm providing seating for between 4 and 8 people in comfort. Subtle boat shaped top with the deep solid mahogany trim with a routed and chamfered edge detail - without question one of the most beautiful British dining table designs of the period. Full professional restoration and newly lacquer finished throughout (as per original) this example features a richly figured and coloured rosewood top with contrasting solid sapele and mahogany trim and legs - the pics don’t do this piece justice it really is beautiful.

142.5cm in length extending to 202.5cm x 88.5cm width x 72.5cm height.
