An absolutely lovely and very early Heals design by Christopher Heal c.1949 designed under Utility Furniture restrictions this modular range would eventually include a total of 25 individual pieces - including a sideboard, bookcase, writing desk, room dividers and chest of drawers. This 2 drawer chest is finished in richly coloured and figured teak with ebonised handles and legs and has been fully restored and newly lacquer finished with just the odd small ding and mark only visible on very close inspection.
