A lovely example of a Georg Jensen for Kubus teak coffee table in wonderful original condition in richly coloured and figured teak. This generously proportioned coffee table features a lovely solid teak upturned lip, with solid tapered legs and magazine shelf. Like many Kubus pieces of the period its designed to flat pack - the magazine rack simply lifts off and the legs unscrew. Sourced from the family of the original owner, purchased at Ponsfords department store in Sheffield in the very late 60’s - carefully cleaned and oil finished the table is in wonderful original condition - the top is almost perfect, just the odd tiny ding and bruise (mainly on the legs). Perfect proportions for in front of a sofa.
