G-Plan model 4530 fully upholstered dining chairs c.1964 (x6)
A rare opportunity to purchase a set of 6 model 4530 dining chairs by G-Plan c.1964 frequently attributed to IB Kofod Larsen. These fully upholstered chairs are very cleverly designed with a tapering seat base and back that is also curved with a slender profile. The chairs stand on solid tola legs with a curved side stretcher - the overall design really is lovely, wonderful proportions and comfortable. Restored with all new foam and webbing and finished in a very high quality boucle wool (Tiree in Windsor Blue) from Bute. The legs have been fully stripped and oil finished and are in lovely condition with just the odd tiny ding only visible on very close inspection - the tola is a lovely warm honey tone with a rich natural lustre.
52cm width (tapering to 49cm at rear), 82cm height, 55cm depth. Seat height 45cm.
