A beautifully detailed and scarcely seen design by Ward & Austin for Loughborough Furniture c.1957 in mahogany with a contrasting ebonised top with brass handles and inlay detailing to bottom drawer. Currently being prepared for a full professional restoration the piece will be newly ebonised and lacquer finished (as per original). Lovely proportions and extremely elegant these smaller chests really are beautifully executed.
