A rarely seen model 216 console table by G-Plan c.1958 in near perfect restored condition - newly ebonised and lacquer finished (as per original) you will not find a better example for sale. A wonderful piece of British design with a distinctive Italian flavour the console is finished in a striking combination of honey coloured African tola with a rich natural lustre and contrasting black and brass with x stretcher and adjustable feet. A fabulously styled piece that would look stunning as a console in a hallway or could be used as a desk or dressing table. 119cm length x 51.5cm depth x 74 - 74.5cm height. Height to underside of drawers 59 - 59.5cm. Internal drawers are 43cm length x 38cm depth x 8.5cm height.
