Absolutely stunning and rarely seen ‘Fanfare’ wingback armchair designed by Howard B. Keith for HK Furniture Ltd of London c.1955. Not to be confused with similar (but smaller) wingback chairs by HK this Fanfare is the ‘Daddy’ of all wingbacks with its incredible profile and dimensions. HK produced chairs of the highest quality that retailed at top department stores of the period including Heals and Harrods with solid timber frames and tension springs. Fully restored and finished with all new foam and covered in a textured grey wool mix couture tweed by Abraham Moon. The finest wingback produced in the period the design is all about subtle angles from the front to back and top to bottom - resulting in a chair that literally hugs you, its incredibly comfortable.
