A lovely example of a Volnay range carver / armchair designed by John J.Herbert for A.Younger Ltd c.1957 finished with all new foam and a vibrant canary yellow omega velvet by Linwood. The solid afrormosia frame is totally original and has been lightly cleaned and polished and presents beautifully with just the odd ding and mark visible on close inspection. These chairs are a great option as a desk chair with generous proportions and a deep seat.
