An absolutely beautiful solid brass and green marble side / lamp table most probably from the late 60’s / early 1970’s. Unknown origin but given its striking modernist styling and construction I think it’s most likely to be British though it could be French or Italian. This simple but striking design is wonderfully proportioned and features a very beautiful piece of green marble to its top. The piece has been very lightly cleaned and polished and has a wonderful patina - on close inspection the piece has various light surface marks, scratches and tarnishing as you’d expect of a piece of this age but it presents wonderfully. Buy it quick before I decide to keep it! A fab little piece to add some glamour to your interior - its perfectly proportioned for use next to you favourite chair.
