A beautifully detailed and scarcely seen design by Ward & Austin for Loughborough Furniture c.1957 featuring a gorgeous richly figured curl / crotch cut mahogany veneer with contrasting ebonised top, ebonised central drawer and brass inlay detailing and brass handles in wonderful restored condition. Originally designed as a dressing table the proportions are perfect as a desk with plenty of storage from two banks of three drawers and the central drawer - perfect proportions for working from home with a laptop. A very elegant and scarcely seen piece, matching chest of drawers also available.
