An absolutely wonderful example of a low and long (8ft) Knightsbridge sideboard in a wonderful combination of solid afrormosia and richly figured teak veneer. Designed by Robert Heritage and produced by Archie Shine Ltd this example was purchased in south Yorkshire in 1965 and has been sourced from the family of the original owner. In outstanding original condition the piece has been carefully cleaned inside and out and then oil finished, the original felt lining in the top drawer has also been replaced. The cupboards open to reveal full width removable shelving. A stand out example of this design featuring some exceptional natural variation in colour and richly figured veneers - in our opinion the best example currently for sale.
