Wonderful wing chair model 406 by G-Plan c.1955 fully restored and finished in Honey Bee Tiree boucle by Bute Fabrics. Lovely 1950’s styling with its winged back, generous proportions, subtle angles and detailing finished on splayed and angled solid beech legs. The chair retains its original tension springs to the base and pocket sprung base support to the lower back section (for lumber support) with new webbing to upper back and has all new foam. The solid beech legs have been stripped and oil finished and are complete with new (as original) metal glides. A gorgeous and very comfortable chair.
82cm (width) x 85cm (depth) at widest point. Seat measures 60cm at the front tapering to 40cm at the back. Height to seat is 44cm, height to top of back is 94cm.
