A fabulous example of a C2 Jason chair designed by Carl Jacobs for Kandya c.1953. This example has been given a full professional restoration and is newly lacquer finished (as per original) and is a very fine example, just the odd tiny ding and nibble visible on close inspection. Angled solid beech legs and formed plywood shell faced in beech to the rear and the desirable sapele (mahogany) to the front. The Jason chair was also designed to stack and is widely regarding as a classic of the period and whilst it remained in production until the end of the 60’s these earlier examples are now seldom seen. A really wonderful example of this classic design.
