An exquisite and seldom seen design by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine. Part of the Berkshire range produced in the late 50’s and into the 60s this incredibly elegant piece could be used as a serving table, console or desk. Fully restored and newly lacquer finished the carcass and legs are in mahogany with the signature upstand to the rear. The spacious drawers are mahogany framed and finished in richly figured and coloured rosewood with solid rosewood handles and inlaid with decorative copper plates - the overall impact is very, very special. A timeless piece of British midcentury design in wonderful restored condition with just the odd tiny mark and nibble only visible on very close inspection. Try and find another!
