Exceptionally rare pair of Dorrington range lamp / bedside tables in rich rosewood designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine. This pair were purchased from Heals of London in 1975 and remained in the same Chelsea apartment for 45 years. Now fully restored and freshly lacquer finished (as per original) they present beautifully with some wonderfully figured and coloured rosewood grain. Perfect proportions with two slender drawers and legs and finished with hinged brass drawer pulls. The backs are also very nicely finished so these would be brilliant either side of a large sofa. A stunning pair of cabinets - try and find another set. The pics don’t do these pieces justice.
